Feels like Spring.

The highs were in the 80’s last week!!

Throwing artificial lures was the way to go!
Always nice to see Speckled Trout trout feeding consistently . I’m looking forward to some more weather like this.

Winter RedFish in Charleston SC

Don’t forget to pack some smaller flies. We were throwing all the go to flies and nothing seemed to work. The Redfish were rolling on their sides and seemed happy, so I was stumped. I thought maybe something smaller might do the trick.

We had the pleasure of visiting Cape Santa Maria this winter! Quiet, peaceful, and absolutely nothing to do here but relax!
I am blessed to have son who shares my passion with the long rod! Many years ago my father took me, and now I’m fortunate to be able to take him.
